This daurah consists of 2 modules for each Juz of the Qur'an (Each module is 4 months of lessons and 2 months of revisions and tests). This is Module 1 of the daurah.

Able to read Arabic letters

A test will be conducted at the end of each semester. Students have the choice to not sit for it However, certification will not be awarded should they opt out of the test.

At the end of the two modules, students who have passed the test/s with a minimum overall percentage of 50% will be awarded a certificate of completion from Afaq Syria.

For this first module, half of Juz 30 (chapter 30) of the Quran will be covered.

The gems and jewels which will be shared are:

• The reasons for revelation of the Surahs or verses (when available)
• The beauty of the words used
• The general meaning of the verses
• The opinions of scholars concerning some of the content which need further explanation
• The applicability of the verses to our lives

• Surah Al-Muthoffifin
