  • Duration of the Entire Daurah

    This daurah consists of 2 modules covering Juz 29 of the Qur'an (Each module is 4 months of lessons and 2 months of revisions and tests). This is Module 1 of the daurah.

  • Module Fee

    SGD$50 for Module 1

  • Frequency of Lessons

    Once a week (i.e. 16 lessons in total)

  • Language Medium

  • Text Used for the Daurah

    At-Tafsirul Wajiz by Syeikh Dr Wahbah Az-Zuhaili (Students will use the translated text)

  • Prerequisites

    Able to read Arabic letters

  • Test & Examinations

    A test will be conducted at the end of each semester. Students have the choice to not sit for it However, certification will not be awarded should they opt out of the test.

  • Certification

    At the end of the two modules, students who have passed the test/s with a minimum overall percentage of 50% will be awarded a certificate of completion from Afaq Syria.

  • What will be Covered in this Module

    For this module, the first half of Juz 29 (chapter 29) of the Quran will be covered.

    The gems and jewels which will be shared are:

    • The reasons for revelation of the Surahs or verses (when available)
    • The beauty of the words used
    • The general meaning of the verses
    • The opinions of scholars concerning some of the content which need further explanation
    • The applicability of the verses to our lives

    The Surahs which will be covered are:

  • Surah Al-Mulk
  • Surah Al-Qalam
  • Surah Al-Haaqqah
  • Surah Al-Ma’arij
  • Surah Nuh

    • Module Fee

    Includes all 16 lessons (uploaded weekly starting 13th July 2022). The course content will be available for your viewing for a period of one year from the date of your course subscription.
