This daurah consists of 2 modules (Each module is 4 months of lessons and 2 months of revisions and tests). This is Module 1 of the daurah.

Tajweed Rules of the Quran by Kareema Czerepinski

Able to read Al Quran.

There will be a test at the end of each module. Students have the choice to not sit for it. However, certification will not be awarded should they opt out of the test.

At the end of the two modules, students who have passed the test/s with a minimum overall percentage of 50% will be awarded a certificate of completion from Afaq Syria.

Lesson 4 to 6: The Articulation Points of the Letters (Makharijul Huruf)

• How letters are formed
• Detailed explanation of the articulation points and their letters
• Practical recitation

Lesson 7 to 11: The Characteristics of Letters (Sifatul Huruf)

• Characteristics with opposites
• Characteristics without opposites
• Practical Recitation

Lesson 12 to 14: The Velarization and Attenuation (Tafkheem and Tarqeeq)

• The levels of Tafkheem
• The Lam in the Name of Majesty (Lafzul Jalalah)
• The Ra’ and the cases of Tafkheem and Tarqeeq
• The Qalqalah Mechanism
